Job summary

Gulfstream Aerospace Appleton is seeking a Cabinet Maker IV to fabricate complex wood-surfaced subassemblies for aircraft interiors, with supervision and guidance as needed.

You will read engineering drawings, use stationary and hand tools, and contribute to process improvements while maintaining safety and quality standards. A strong cabinetmaking background and a high school diploma are required, aerospace experience preferred.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• 4 years of cabinetmaking experience; aerospace experience preferred.
• Reads and interprets material specs and engineering drawings.

Responsibilities

• Fabricates complex high-quality furniture and wood-surfaced subassemblies for aircraft interiors.
• Oversees projects and mentors lesser skilled technicians where needed.
• Adheres to safety, 5S, and housekeeping policies.
