Job description

As Lead, Business Operations, you’ll be the strategic engine behind how we execute and scale our go-to-market teams. You’ll work across Sales, Marketing, Customer Success, and Product, helping the entire commercial organization move faster, align better, and grow smarter. You’ll design the rhythms, frameworks, and systems that keep our teams connected and accelerating toward our goals. You’ll tackle the big, messy, cross-functional challenges that don’t sit neatly within one team and solve them in ways that unlock scale, clarity, and speed.Whether it’s rolling out a new territory model, rethinking how we run QBRs, launching a new market, or driving special projects, you’ll be the go-to person to get it done: fast, right, and collaboratively.

IN THIS ROLE YOU WILL:
  • Identify and remove cross-functional bottlenecks across Sales, Marketing, CS, and Product.
  • Design and lead commercial operating rhythms: pipeline reviews, forecast calls, QBRs, and more.
  • Turn strategic goals into clear execution plans with owners, milestones, and success metrics.
  • Lead special projects like pricing changes, tool rollouts, customer segmentation, or market expansions.
  • Build the templates, playbooks, and frameworks that make it easier for teams to move fast and win.
  • Be the glue between teams—making sure the right people are aligned, decisions are documented, and actions are followed through.
  • Always look for ways to simplify, scale, and improve how we operate.
WHAT YOU BRING TO THE TABLE:

We’re looking for a first-principles thinker and operator who thrives in ambiguity and scales impact through structure. Ideally, you have:

  • 4+ years of total experience, including 2+ years at a top-tier consulting firm (e.g., McKinsey, BCG, Bain) and 2 to 4 years in Business Operations, Strategic Finance, or a similar role at a high-growth startup.
  • Proven experience leading cross-functional initiatives in fast-moving, ambiguous environments.
  • Exceptional communication skills—you know how to influence without authority.
  • A bias for action—you’re not waiting for perfect clarity to move.
  • Experience working closely with executive leadership.
  • Comfort working across time zones, cultures, and fast-paced teams.

Bonus points if you have international experience and are excited about building a truly global company.

WHAT'S IN IT FOR YOU?
  • Join a diverse team of 40+ nationalities with flat hierarchies and a collaborative company culture, and enjoy an immersive onboarding experience in Berlin to dive into our product and culture.
  • Opportunity to build and scale your career at the intersection of customer-facing roles and engineering in a dynamic startup on its journey to become an international leader in SaaS platforms for Conversational AI.
  • A beautiful office with flair in the heart of NYC with all the conveniences, such as social area, snacks, and drinks.
  • Competitive compensation and equity package.
  • Flexible working hours, unlimited PTO, and travel opportunities.
  • Access to a training and development budget for continuous professional growth.
  • ClassPass membership, Nilo Health, Health insurance, weekly sponsored office lunches.
  • Regular team events, game nights, and other social activities.
  • Hybrid work environment - we believe in hiring the best talent, no matter where they are based. However, we love to build real connections and want to welcome everyone in the office on certain days

Why are you being asked to complete this form?

We are a federal contractor or subcontractor. The law requires us to provide equal employment opportunity to qualified people with disabilities. We have a goal of having at least 7% of our workers as people with disabilities. The law says we must measure our progress towards this goal. To do this, we must ask applicants and employees if they have a disability or have ever had one. People can become disabled, so we need to ask this question at least every five years.

Completing this form is voluntary, and we hope that you will choose to do so. Your answer is confidential. No one who makes hiring decisions will see it. Your decision to complete the form and your answer will not harm you in any way. If you want to learn more about the law or this form, visit the U.S. Department of Labor’s Office of Federal Contract Compliance Programs (OFCCP) website at www.dol.gov/ofccp .
