Job summary

System One is seeking a Lead Business Intelligence Analyst for an onsite contract role in Irvine, California. The position encompasses leading BI architecture and delivering commercial BI solutions, with a 40-hour work week and a focus on data-driven decision support.

You will collaborate with commercial and sales ops partners to define requirements, solve complex technical challenges, and optimize BI tool performance.

Qualifications

• Completed degree with minimum of 4 or more years experience.

Responsibilities

• Leading the design and support of commercial BI applications and architecture.
• Works with commercial / sales ops business partners to understand and prioritize data and information requirements.
• Solves complex technical problems.
• Optimizes the performance of BI tools by defining data to filter and index that add value to the user.
• Creates testing methodology and criteria.
• Designs and coordinates a curriculum for coaching and training customers in the use of BI tools to enhance business decision-making capability.
• Develops standards, policies and procedures for the form, structure and attributes of the BI tools and systems.
• Develops data/information quality metrics.
• Researches new technology and develops business cases to support enterprise wide BI solutions.
• Adapts precedent and may make significant departures from traditional approaches to develop solutions.
