In this role, you will be responsible for establishing a standard of excellence within the Business Analyst team, developing robust processes and procedures, and ensuring the accurate gathering and articulation of requirements from Product Management, Internal Stakeholders, and Engineering teams. Your leadership will be critical in increasing the velocity and consistency of our software development execution.
Key Responsibilities

- Team Leadership & Management: Lead, mentor, and manage the Business Analyst team, fostering a culture of excellence and continuous improvement.
- Strategic Project Leadership: Serve as the Senior Business Analyst on large, strategic projects, ensuring comprehensive requirements gathering and clear articulation of Features and User Stories.
- Process Development: Develop and implement strong processes and procedures for the Business Analyst team to enhance efficiency, consistency, and quality in requirements gathering and documentation.
- Stakeholder Collaboration: Collaborate with Product Management, Internal Stakeholders, and Engineering teams to gather and clarify requirements, ensuring alignment with project goals and objectives.
- Standards & Best Practices: Establish and maintain standards and best practices for requirements gathering, documentation, and communication within the Business Analyst team.
- Training & Development: Provide ongoing training and development opportunities for Business Analysts to ensure skill growth and professional development.
- Performance Management: Conduct regular performance reviews, provide constructive feedback, and develop individual development plans for team members.
- Quality Assurance: Ensure the quality and accuracy of requirements documentation, facilitating smooth handoffs to development teams.
Education And Experience

- Bachelor's or Master’s degree in Business Administration, Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
- Minimum of 7 years of experience in business analysis, with at least 3 years in a leadership or managerial role.
- Proven experience in leading business analysis for large, complex projects.
- Strong understanding of software development methodologies and the Software Development Lifecycle (SDLC).
- Demonstrated ability to develop and implement processes and procedures.
