Lead Business Analyst

The Opportunity:
CACI is looking for a Lead Business Analyst to manage a team of Business Analysts support our DoD customer to implement an Enterprise Information Technology Service Management (EITSM) system that provides consistent, secure, high-quality, and cost-effective services to enable mission success and improve end user experience across the customer environment.

Responsibilities:

  • Serve as a Lead Business Analyst in a dynamic Agile environment to develop a portfolio of software applications while providing leadership, mentorship, and guidance to a team of business analysts.

  • Establish processes and procedures for the capture, analysis, and management of functional and non-functional systems requirements, features, and user stories.

  • Work closely with the Project Manager and Scrum Masters to establish product and sprint backlogs, resolve impediments, and provide input on scope of work to be accomplished.

  • Work collaboratively with internal and external stakeholders, as well as the product development team during the development cycle to ensure the customer needs are met.

  • Evaluate team success and progress towards achievement of defined goals and objectives.

  • Work with the leadership team to set strategic program goals.

  • Collaborate with stakeholders to identify and analyze enterprise business needs and requirements.

  • Review and evaluate work done by the development team to verify and validate scope was met.

  • Identify and effectively decompose mission/business objectives into system requirements and user stories for a product backlog to be implemented in short and iterative development cycles.

  • Clearly communicate business needs to a development team through user stories and acceptance criteria.

  • Lead product demonstrations to stakeholders and report on the results of each software iteration.

The Ideal Candidate Will Bring:

  • Experience developing business processes, capability needs, business requirements, and business information models.

  • Ability to translate business requirements into user stories, use cases, and technical requirements.

  • Experience with functional decomposition of large business needs into multiple layers of requirements/user stories.

  • Experience conducting interviews with stakeholders to gather pertinent information.

  • Experience analyzing data and data relationships across an organization’s business areas.

  • Knowledge of all elements of the software development life cycle, including planning, development, requirements management, quality assurance, and release management.

  • Able to understand the day-to-day operational needs of customers and identify areas for improvement in business processes and propose solutions.

  • Broad understanding of the ServiceNow Platform (ITSM, ITOM, ITAM, etc.).

  • Experience in estimating techniques and capacity planning

  • Experience with Agile Scrum methodologies.

  • Strong skills with process modelling tools such as Visio.



Qualifications:

Required:

  • Active Secret DoD Clearance, or ability to obtain a Secret clearance

  • 12+ Years of relevant experience (Bachelor’s Degree in relevant field may be substituted for 5 years of relevant experience)

  • Minimum 3 year’s experience leading a team of Business Analyst on interative software development projects

  • Experience developing process guides

  • Experience with ServiceNow (ITSM, ITAM, ITOM, etc.)

  • Strong analytical and strategic thinking skills with a service-oriented mindset




Desired:

  • Certified Business Analysis Professional

  • Agile or Scrum Master Certification

  • Product Owner Certification

  • Knowledge and experience with the Business Analysis Body of Knowledge (BABOK)

The proposed salary range for this position is:

$82,100-$172,400
