Job summary

Qualifications

• High School Diploma and 3–5 years of experience in maintenance/repair of commercial buildings.
• Equivalent combination of education and/or experience allowed.
• Ability to communicate effectively and work with diverse populations.

Responsibilities

• Perform a variety of maintenance and repair tasks on city facilities.
• Carry out carpentry, demolition, painting, plumbing, and mechanical maintenance.
• Operate equipment and perform preventive maintenance inspections.
• Order parts, conduct safety inspections, and log asset data.
• Perform minor welding/soldering and drive service vehicles as needed.
