ABM, a leading provider of integrated facility solutions, is looking for a Lead Engineer.

The Lead Engineer is responsible for all activities related to the maintenance and repair of mechanical systems within a property. Responsibilities include maintenance and operations of HVACR equipment and controls, chilled water systems, boilers, refrigeration systems, and other mechanical or electrical building systems. The Engineer must be flexible and willing to complete all assigned tasks.

Essential Functions:

• Follow safe practices and comply with company and regulatory standards.
• Operate or assist in operating heating and ventilating equipment, engines, turbines, motors, pumps, air compressors, refrigeration machines, air conditioning units, fans, and siphons.
• Be flexible and willing to complete all tasks assigned.
• Collaborate with internal and external customers on technical issues, work scope recommendations, and failure investigations.
• Work across various engineering departments based on current needs.

Qualifications:

• Provide engineering support for systems, maintenance programs, engines, and operational functions.
• Understand, analyze, and seek solutions for the design, operation, maintenance, and repair of vehicles/equipment and their components.
• Approach problem-solving logically, define maintenance or configuration needs, and ensure safe, legal operations.
• Review Service Bulletins from manufacturers.
• Develop solutions, implementation plans, perform cost/benefit analyses, and manage project execution, including warranty recovery where applicable.
• Organize and prioritize responsibilities to meet project and maintenance deadlines.
• Coordinate with operational groups to ensure safety, compliance, and operational efficiency.
