ABM, a leading provider of integrated facility solutions, is looking for a Lead Engineer.

The Lead Engineer is responsible for all activities related to the maintenance and repair of all mechanical systems within a property. The duties may include the maintenance and operations of HVACR equipment and controls. Other systems may include chilled water systems, boilers, refrigeration systems, and other mechanical or electrical building systems. The Engineer must be flexible and willing to complete all tasks assigned.

Essential Functions:

• Follows safe practices and complies with company and regulatory standards.
• Qualified to operate or assist in operating all heating and ventilating equipment, engines, turbines, motors, pumps, air compressors, refrigeration machines, air conditioning units, fans, and siphons on the assigned site.
• Must be flexible and willing to complete all tasks as assigned.
• Work with internal and external customers on technical issues, work scope recommendations, and failure investigations.
• Work in various engineering departments based on current needs.

Qualifications:

• Supports a wide range of systems, maintenance programs, engines, and operational engineering functions.
• Understands, analyzes, and seeks solutions to the design, operation, maintenance, performance, or repair of vehicles/equipment and their components.
• Approaches problem-solving logically, defines maintenance programs or configurations, and ensures safe and legal operations.
• Reviews Service Bulletins (SBs) from manufacturers.
• Develops solutions, implementation plans, project justifications, and manages project execution, including warranty recovery.
• Organizes and manages priorities to meet project and maintenance deadlines.
• Coordinates with operational groups to ensure safety, compliance, and operational efficiency.
