Job summary

Harris Company is seeking a Lead Building Automation Installer to plan, install, test, and Commission electrical wiring and equipment per job specs and local codes. You will lead field teams, ensure safety, and contribute to project documentation and budgeting.

The role requires strong knowledge of building codes, 5 years in mechanical/electrical systems, and experience with test equipment. Expect on-site work and active collaboration with design teams.

Qualifications

• 5 years of experience with mechanical and electrical systems.
• 5 years with test equipment including multimeters and digital analyzers.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office.
• Proficient knowledge of building codes.

Responsibilities

• Plan layout and installation of electrical wiring and equipment per specs and local codes.
• Connect wires to electrical components to create a complete and operational system.
• Test electrical systems for safety and compatibility using testing devices.
• Lead installation teams, maintain safety, and review progress with stakeholders.
• Prepare as-built documentation and participate in project verification.
