Job summary

Harris Computer in the United States seeks a Lead Building Automation System Specialist to execute turnkey projects up to $500,000. You will lead design, installation, programming, commissioning and verification, acting as superintendent on smaller jobs and coordinating with a Project Manager on larger ones.

The role requires strong knowledge of HVAC and Building Automation Systems, plus programming experience and Niagara certification (or intent to obtain within 12 months).

Qualifications

• 5 years of experience with Mechanical Systems.
• 5 years of Building Automation Experience.
• 3 years of Programming experience.
• Niagara certified or ability to obtain certification within 1 year.

Responsibilities

• Verify system compliance with plans, specifications, change orders and approved sequences.
• Lead preconstruction activities including design coordination and turnover.
• Ensure proper installation of components and wiring verification.
• Program controllers in accordance with design and sequence of operation.
• Integrate other systems to meet project scope.
• Diagnose, test, and optimize system performance.
• Document project activities and communicate with stakeholders.
