Job summary
Johnson Controls is seeking an experienced technician to perform preventive maintenance, repair, installation, and commissioning of building automation systems at customer sites in North America. You will diagnose complex control system issues and ensure high customer satisfaction through on-site service and professional communication.
You will mentor junior technicians, complete project documentation, and provide practical recommendations for system enhancements while upholding safety standards
Qualifications
- Trade school or technical program graduate, or 2 years’ experience servicing electronic or mechanical systems.
- Ability to install and service electronic control systems and HVAC equipment.
- Strong communication skills to represent Johnson Controls on customer sites.
Responsibilities
- Conduct preventive maintenance, repair, installation, commissioning, and servicing of building automation systems.
- Mentor control and service technicians on building automation activities.
- Provide field proposals for retrofits or upgrades and assist sales with technical recommendations.
