Qualifications

• Proven experience as a Cook or Chef with strong knowledge of techniques, flavors and ingredients.
• Strong leadership to manage kitchen staff and ensure smooth operation.
• Ability to develop innovative dishes while aligning with buffet guidelines and culinary vision.
• Keen eye for detail in food presentation, making dishes visually appealing.

Responsabilités

• Prepare and present a diverse range of dishes, while maintaining consistency and excellence in taste.
• Collaborate with the executive chef and management to update buffet menu sections with new dishes and seasonal variations.
• Lead and manage a team of cooks and kitchen staff, ensuring adherence to standardized recipes and high-quality output.
• Train and mentor kitchen staff in cooking techniques, food safety practices, and equipment usage.
• Assist in inventory control, monitoring ingredient stock levels and controlling food costs to minimize waste.
• Maintain strict adherence to food safety and sanitation standards in the kitchen.
• Conduct regular inspections of food preparation and presentation to uphold quality and taste.
• Interact with guests, answer questions about dishes, accommodate dietary requests, and ensure guest satisfaction.
• Foster effective communication with other kitchen sections for seamless operation and timely delivery of food items.
• Stay up-to-date with culinary trends and contribute to menu improvements aligned with resort culinary vision.
• Other duties as assigned by management.
