Groundworks Industries in Oregon City is seeking a Lead Budtender to provide a welcoming, knowledgeable customer experience and lead by example on shift. You will guide customers through cannabis products, manage daily operations, and ensure compliance with OLCC regulations.

The role emphasizes independent work and teamwork, with opportunities to mentor others and grow with the company. Must be 21+ and hold or obtain an OLCC Marijuana Worker Permit.

Qualifications

• Experience leading a retail team or shift leadership responsibilities.
• Strong customer-first mindset with ability to guide customers through product options.

Responsibilities

• Create a welcoming, personalized experience for customers.
• Help customers explore cannabis products including flowers, pre-rolls, edibles, concentrates.
• Build relationships with customers through recommendations and conversations.
• Lead by example and support fellow budtenders on shift.
• Independently manage shifts, including opening procedures.
• Process POS transactions and handle cash accurately.
• Keep the store clean, organized, stocked, and ready for customers.
• Assist with merchandising, inventory accuracy, and daily store operations.
• Follow OLCC regulations and company policies.
