Job summary

Air Force District of Washington seeks a first-level supervisor to plan, direct, organize, and control the Financial Analysis, FMA flight within the Comptroller. You will supervise nonsupervisory staff and advise on budgeting and financial management matters.

In this role you will ensure compliance with OMB and agency procedures, communicate results in writing and orally, and lead efforts to improve budgeting processes in the 11 CPTS/FMA unit, under the Acting Comptroller when the commander is

Qualifications

• Knowledge of structure, programs, and work methods of budgeting.
• Knowledge of safety and security regulations, practices, and procedures.
• Ability to plan, organize, and direct the functions and staff of a small to medium sized organization.
• Comprehensive knowledge of OMB, Congressional, and agency financial management objectives, budget precedents and controls.
• Ability to communicate effectively, both orally and in writing, to justify or advise on budgetary processes.
