Job summary

SiriusXM is seeking a Broadcast Infrastructure Technician for a 24/7 on-site shift in a fast-paced broadcast facility in the U.S. You’ll support broadcast and IT systems, perform software/firmware updates, and assist remote studio users while resolving issues and escalating as needed.

Applicants should have 3+ years in broadcast/mediacontent tech, hands-on project experience, and strong MS Office/Visio/AutoCAD skills; legal right to work in the U.S. is required.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years of hands-on & remote technical experience in broadcast or media content creation facility.
• Minimum 0-2 years of leading technical projects and supervising technicians.
• Proficiency in a wide range of broadcasting or IT equipment and systems.
• Knowledge of MS Office suite, Visio and AutoCAD.
• Must have legal right to work in the U.S.

Responsibilities

• Review system operations logs during shifts and install software/firmware updates for broadcast hardware and IT workstations.
• Troubleshoot issues for in-house and remote studio users; escalate to SMEs as needed.
• Address networking issues locally or across sites and communicate status to management.
