Job summary

A leading broadcasting technology company located in New York, NY, is seeking a skilled technician to manage broadcast system operations and provide on-site technical support. The ideal candidate will have strong programming knowledge of broadcasting equipment, extensive experience with video signal systems, and the ability to ensure optimal equipment performance. Qualifications

  • Associates or Technical Degree preferred.
  • 2 years of technical experience required.
  • Minimum 5 years’ experience with video signal generating equipment.
  • Excellent computer skills and experience with a live, multi-camera room preferred.
  • Demonstrated knowledge of broadcast technology and production.

Responsibilities

  • Manage and monitor the broadcast system engineering operations.
  • Perform preventative maintenance and troubleshooting.
  • Provide on-site client service and technical support.
  • Ensure proper setup of cameras and related video equipment.
  • Monitor and adjust signals with state-of-the-art equipment.

Skills

Programming knowledge of Evertz EQX baseband router
Familiarity with audio, visual, graphic systems
Demonstrated skills in technical aspects of television production
Client service and support
Regular cleaning and inventory checks
Preventative maintenance and troubleshooting
Following through on repairs and updates
On-site technical support
Configuration and optimization of broadcast links
Signal monitoring and adjustment
