Job summary

A leading media and entertainment company in New York is looking for a Broadcast Engineer to ensure the continuous operation of live production systems. The ideal candidate will have over 5 years of experience in a television broadcast environment, strong documentation habits, and the ability to work in a fast-paced, high-pressure setting. This full-time role requires collaboration with various production teams and proficiency with broadcast production systems such as Evertz and Calrec audio consoles. Competitive salary range is $110,000 – $130,000.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of recent experience in a television broadcast environment.
• Strong familiarity with broadcast engineering and video/audio transmission systems.
• Ability to work shifts, including weekends and holidays.

Responsibilities

• Support and optimize SMPTE 2110 environments.
• Maintain and integrate legacy and hybrid infrastructures.
• Collaborate with teams managing Cisco ACI networks and EVS Playback systems.

Skills

Experience in television broadcast environment

Knowledge of Evertz SMPTE 2110 Magnum Routers

Detail-oriented and organized
