Job summary

Gray Media is seeking an Engineering Supervisor for WSIL/KFVS-TV to lead the technical operations across broadcast and IT. You will oversee RF transmitters, IP-driven news gathering, and facilities teams to ensure content reaches every screen reliably.

You'll collaborate with engineers, IT professionals, and production staff to maintain safety, regulatory compliance, and seamless multi-platform delivery, including budget support and strategic tech upgrades.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in a broadcast engineering environment.
• Proficient with digital broadcast equipment and RF systems.
• Ability to manage multiple deadlines in a 24/7 operation.
• Strong problem-solving and project management skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead the technical charge and direct engineering, IT, and facilities teams.
• Oversee installation and maintenance of all broadcast and IT equipment.
• Ensure safety, FCC and OSHA compliance across operations.
• Bridge traditional broadcast with IP-enabled workflows.
• Support budget planning and cost-efficiency for technical ops.
• Ensure 24/7 operational reliability across all platforms.
