Job summary

Sinclair Inc. is seeking an Assistant Chief Engineer to bridge the engineering team, leadership, and location personnel. You will act as a subject matter expert for equipment and technology, lead on-site engineering efforts, and support live production with the News team.

The role requires transmitter repair experience, a valid driver's license, and an engineering background. You may travel with the News team and work in a high-energy, relationship-driven environment at the TV station.

Qualifications

• On-the-job or formal training repairing transmitters.
• Valid & unencumbered driver's license.
• Work experience, education, and/or formal training in one or more engineering-related fields.
• Ability to lift 40-50 lbs.

Responsibilities

• Provide transmitter support and maintenance.
• Replace or adjust defective equipment and perform troubleshooting in the field.
• Assist with Networking/Wiring and site infrastructure.
• Track and organize department-related budget information.
