Job summary

Wilson & Company, Inc., Engineers & Architects seeks a full-time bridge engineer to support the bridge team in South Jordan, UT. You will design and detail railroad and highway structures, mentor entry-level staff, and communicate with clients and multi-office teams.

The ideal candidate has a B.S. in Civil Engineering (ABET) with 7+ years of transport-structure design experience and would be licensed PE or eligible to obtain in 6 months.

Qualifications

ABET-accredited civil engineering degree required.
7+ years in structural design for bridges and transportation structures.
Licensed Professional Engineer or ability to obtain within 6 months.
Experience with plan development, analysis and design calculations.
Proficiency with AASHTO and AREMA guidance and related software.

Responsibilities

Lead the structural design of projects and mentor junior staff.
Design and detailing railroad and highway structures (RCC, PRC, steel, earth retention).
Coordinate with offices, report to senior staff and clients; manage CAD outputs.
