Job summary

Jiffy Lube is seeking a Lead Brake Technician to perform brake service and installation across approved store products and services. You will complete all work accurately and in a timely manner, contributing to customer satisfaction and vehicle safety.

The role involves operating lifting equipment, conducting comprehensive brake repairs, and maintaining tools. You will also attend training and keep up with current brake repair developments while building clear estimates for customers.

Qualifications

• Valid driver's license.
• Must have A5 ASE brake certification.
• Able to read and write English.
• Team-player.

Responsibilities

• Drive vehicles with automatic and manual transmissions.
• Perform complete disc or drum brake service including hydraulic repair/replacement and wheel bearing service.
• Repair, overhaul, and/or adjust automotive brake systems and inspect for safety.
• Operate lifting equipment (jacks, stands, hoists) safely and efficiently.
• Attend training and stay updated on brake repair technology and processes.
• Prepare repair-cost estimates and secure customer approval.
