Jiffy Lube in Selden, NY is seeking an Automotive Technician to service guest vehicles with a focus on brakes, tires, and routine mechanical repairs. The role provides comprehensive training and benefits when joining our service team.

You'll work in a fast-paced, guest-centered environment, performing diagnostics, repairs, and preventative maintenance while using industry software to estimate parts and labor. A strong teamwork ethic and commitment to safety are essential.

Qualifications

• 1–3 years of automotive experience required.
• 1–2 years of brake system experience.
• ASE A5 Brakes certification is required.
• High school diploma or equivalent; trade school a plus.

Responsibilities

• Provide mechanical repairs and service center work.
• Communicate clearly with guests about vehicle status and needs.
• Keep the workstation clean and presentable.
• Perform complete disc or drum brake service and related repairs.
• Diagnose and repair issues across braking, engine, electrical, and suspension systems.
• Use computer systems to provide estimates for parts and labor (All DATA/AutoZone/NAPA tools).
• Road-test vehicles before and after service to ensure quality.
