Job summary

Jiffy Lube is seeking a Lead Brake Technician and Crossover Brake Technician to perform automotive brake services and installations on store products and services, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.

The role requires a valid driver’s license, ASE brake certification, ability to read and write English, and strong teamwork. You will diagnose vehicles, prepare estimates, operate lifts, and maintain brake lathe equipment.

Qualifications

• Valid driver's license is required.
• Ability to read and write English is required.
• Team-player with good communication and safety awareness.

Responsibilities

• Drive vehicles with automatic and manual transmissions.
• Perform complete disc or drum brake service including hydraulic repair/replacement and attaching hardware.
• Operate lifting equipment (jacks, jack stands, hoists) safely.
• Repair, overhaul, and adjust automotive brake systems.
• Examine and diagnose vehicles; prepare repair-cost estimates and obtain customer approval.
