Job summary

Jiffy Lube in Rio Rancho, NM is seeking a Lead Brake Technician to perform brake service and installations on a range of store products and services. You will work with automatic and manual transmissions, and ensure work is accurate and timely.

The successful candidate will attend training, maintain tool proficiency including the Pro-Cut brake lathe, and communicate repair estimates clearly to customers while upholding safety standards.

Qualifications

• Must have valid driver's license.
• A5 ASE brake certification is required.
• Ability to read and write English.
• Team player with customer service mindset.

Responsibilities

• Drive vehicles with automatic and manual transmissions.
• Perform complete disc or drum brake service, including hydraulic repair and hardware replacement.
• Operate lifting equipment safely.
• Diagnose vehicles and prepare repair-cost estimates for customer approval.
• Maintain brake lathe operation and tool readiness.
• Attend training and stay updated on brake repair technology.
