Job summary

Rumble Boxing is seeking a Head Trainer to lead in New Jersey, driving a high-energy studio environment, recruiting and onboarding trainers, and ensuring alignment with brand values. You will coordinate class programming, support community outreach, and help achieve monthly revenue goals while maintaining exceptional member engagement.

You will oversee studio operations, attendee growth, and trainer performance, with responsibilities spanning training, events, and communications.

Qualifications

• Must be flexible and willing to work weekends and holidays.
• Must dedicate around 10 hours per week assisting with studio operations, class reviews, etc.
• Must hold a fitness certification from a Rumble approved vendor (NASM, ACE, AFAA)
• Must have current CPR/AED certification
• Recommended 2+ years of experience teaching group fitness

Responsibilities

• Create a positive, high-energy Rumble Boxing studio environment
• Communicate corporate initiatives to trainers
• Navigate full hiring cycle from vetting to onboarding
• Oversee studio operations: cleanliness, technology, and organization
• Support marketing, community outreach, and events (1–2 per month)
• Grow class attendance and revenue targets
• Coach trainers on monthly programming and audits
• Host monthly trainer workshops and participate in corporate meetings
• Follow up with new and existing members with a defined cadence
• Maintain studio utilization above 60%
• Encourage trainers to promote classes on social media
• Manage head trainer email and inquiries
• Perform 10–15 hours of admin work weekly
• Conduct weekly one-on-one sessions with trainers
