Job summary

Rumble Boxing is seeking a Head Trainer to lead a high-energy studio and uphold the brand’s values. You will mentor trainers, manage operations, and drive class attendance while maintaining a welcoming culture.

Responsibilities include hiring, training, coordinating events, and partnering with marketing to grow the community. You’ll report to the GM and balance coaching with admin duties, weekends included.

Qualifications

• Must hold a fitness certification from a Rumble approved vendor (NASM, ACE, AFAA).
• Must have current CPR/AED certification.
• 2+ years of experience teaching group fitness.
• 60+ classes taught.
• 30+ classes attended.
• Strong understanding of the Rumble brand, programming, and values.
• Excellent communication and customer service skills.
• Willingness to work weekends and holidays.

Responsibilities

• Create a positive, high energy Rumble Boxing studio environment.
• Communicate corporate initiatives to trainers.
• Navigate full hiring cycle from vetting - interviewing - educating and onboarding with the Rumble.
• Studio stage organization, cleanliness, technology, and other areas of the studio.
• Assist with marketing, community outreach, and studio inreach (1-2 events per month).
• Build class attendance, retain clients, and achieve monthly revenue goals.
• Review and coach trainer staff on monthly programming and audits (30/60/90 days).
• Host monthly workshops with trainer staff on programming and initiatives.
• Attend Rumble webinars, Zooms, and corporate meetings.
• Follow up with new, current, and former members with Day 7/21/45 cadence and 30-40 contacts per week.
• Ensure studio utilization above 60%.
• Encourage trainers to post 1-3 stories/posts weekly promoting classes.
• Manage head trainer email and respond timely.
• 10-15 hours of administrative work per week
• Conduct weekly 1-1 with trainers virtually.
