Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Operate steam boilers and related equipment for facility heating and utilities.
• Serve as shift leader or lead operator in a medium- to large-sized steam plant.
• Start up, shut down, and monitor boilers for safe and efficient operation.
• Record and monitor pressure, temperature, water level, fuel consumption and other readings.
• Maintain boiler water quality and perform preventive maintenance and minor repairs.
• Coordinate with maintenance, HVAC and engineering staff to support operations.
