Job summary

Jobtailor is seeking a CAE Engineer to lead structural analysis, develop architectures, and drive FEA plans for projects. You will collaborate with design and validation teams to ensure performance and weight targets.

Ideal candidate has 3+ years in Linear and Quasi-Static analysis (NASTRAN/OPTISTRUCT, LS-DYNA) with strong communication; experience with NX data, documentation, and cross-functional CAE involvement.

Qualifications

• BS in Mechanical, Civil or Aerospace Engineering.
• Coursework in Strength of Materials and Engineering Mechanics.
• 3+ years in linear/quasi-static CAE analysis and optimization tools.

Responsibilities

• Perform structural analysis to lead development of new architectures.
• Create and execute FEA plans for assigned projects.
• Lead CAE suppliers and internal resources to meet milestones.
• Interface with engineers to balance vehicle structure requirements.
• Document analysis performance and CAE reports for program management.
