Job summary

Jobtailor is seeking a structural analyst to perform detailed hand calculations and FEA on aerospace structures and pressurized systems for new designs and improvements.

You will collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, author structural analysis reports to release drawings, support test plans, and create analysis tools to improve efficiency and accuracy. This role requires clear communication of results and the ability to balance multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of structural analysis experience using commercial FEA tools and hand calculations.
• Experience with structural analysis of pressurized components and high-performance hardware.
• Solid understanding of structural mechanics and fatigue.
• Knowledge of engineering materials and their applications.
• Ability to communicate analysis results effectively.

Responsibilities

• Perform detailed hand calculations and FEA of aerospace structures and pressurized systems for new designs and improvements.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary team members and contribute to design development activities.
• Author structural analysis reports to support release of drawings and documents.
• Support test plan development to verify requirements and generate material and structural data.
• Create and update analysis tools to improve efficiency and accuracy of analysis.
