Job summary

Jobtailor is seeking a Body Interior Engineer to design, develop, validate, release, and implement interior components and systems for assigned vehicle programs.

You will lead master sections supporting manufacturing, cost, timing, safety, quality, assembly, craftsmanship, and ergonomics; coordinate CAD transfers, CAE studies, and Six Sigma processes; and drive PPAP and supplier readiness reviews.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering or related discipline.
• 2 years of experience with body interior components in automotive domain.
• 1 year of CAD experience.
• Knowledge of vehicle functions and Body Interior systems and components.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, validate, release, and implement Body Interior components and systems for assigned vehicle programs.
• Lead development of master sections supporting manufacturing, cost, timing, safety, quality, assembly, craftsmanship, and ergonomics.
• Comply with program cost, weight, quality, performance, and timing targets and GPDS milestone deliverables.
• Apply the GPDS process and maintain program-specific robustness engineering disciplines.
