Job summary

Beacon Hill, a nationally recognized plaintiff-side medical malpractice practice, seeks an experienced trial attorney to lead a newly formed birth injury litigation team. The role involves handling high-stakes cases with substantial verdict and settlement potential in a hybrid environment.

You will serve as first-chair in birth injury matters, mentor junior attorneys, and shape case strategy from intake through trial while collaborating with a dedicated nurse attorney and a strong trial docket.

Qualifications

• Minimum 8+ years of litigation experience.
• Significant first-chair birth injury trial experience required
• Ability to independently manage complex medical malpractice cases
• Strong deposition, motion practice, and courtroom skills
• Active bar admission in any U.S. jurisdiction

Responsibilities

• Serve as first-chair trial counsel in birth injury litigation matters
• Develop case strategy and oversee all phases of litigation
• Prepare and defend expert and fact witness depositions
• Manage settlement negotiations and trial preparation
• Supervise and mentor supporting attorneys and staff
• Travel as necessary for litigation and trial assignments
