Job summary

Beacon Hill, a plaintiff-side medical malpractice firm, is seeking a litigation attorney to join a newly created trial team focused on catastrophic birth injuries in the Maryland suburbs of Washington, DC. The role provides hands-on responsibility, substantial court exposure, and a clear path to increased leadership on nationally significant cases, with mentorship from seasoned trial lawyers.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3+ years of litigation experience.
• Significant previous deposition experience required.
• Medical malpractice experience strongly preferred.
• Strong writing, advocacy, and case management skills.
• Active bar admission in any U.S. jurisdiction.

Responsibilities

• Support trial team in all phases of litigation.
• Conduct and defend depositions.
• Draft motions, briefs, and discovery.
• Assist with witness preparation and trial strategy.
• Participate in trial preparation and courtroom proceedings.
