Job summary

RRD Company is seeking a hands-on Bindery Technician to set up, adjust and operate a range of binding machines. You will inspect equipment for safety, monitor quality and output, and guide a crew through production to meet deadlines.

Responsibilities include coordinating multiple work stations, ensuring correct paper weights and finishes, and performing routine maintenance on bindery lines. The role is full-time with shifts and competitive pay.

Qualifications

• Thorough knowledge of bindery equipment setup and operation.
• Ability to interpret machine operation instructions.
• Experience with binding, folding, collating, and cutting of printed materials.
• Knowledge of paper weights, sizes, colors and related adjustments.
• Skill in using hand tools and adjusting machines.

Responsibilities

• Set up, adjust and operate a variety of auxiliary binding machines.
• Inspect equipment for safety issues.
• Operate perfect binders that process signatures and books.
• Coordinate multiple work stations on a single machine.
• Direct crew through all aspects of production.
• Monitor quality, output and productivity.
