Generations Family Health Center is seeking a Lead Billing Specialist to manage back-office patient revenue cycles, ensure accurate billing for services, and support collections and reporting. The role is full-time in Willimantic, CT.

Experience in health care billing, insurance knowledge, and strong attention to detail are essential. Competitive benefits offered, including retirement and insurance options.

Competenze

• High School diploma or equivalency required.
• Two years of experience in primary health care or related setting.
• Knowledge of insurance plans and managed care.
• Coding certificate or training preferred.
• Familiarity with ICD-10, CPT, HIPAA and credentialing desirable.
• Excellent organizational and math/analytical skills; strong communication and customer service.

Mansioni

• Back office patient revenue cycle transactions including recording insurance payments.
• Ensure services rendered are billed accurately and timely.
• Perform collections and adjust delinquent accounts per policy.
• Assist in grant, financial and productivity reporting and analysis.
