Job summary

Hair Cuttery Family of Brands is seeking an Assistant Salon Manager to be the right hand to the Salon Leader, balancing hands-on styling with staff leadership. You’ll mentor the team, drive the Guest Journey, and help run a profitable salon while maintaining high energy and guest satisfaction.

You’ll manage daily operations, oversee scheduling, ensure safety and compliance, and support local marketing efforts to keep the salon busy.

Qualifications

• Must hold a current Cosmetology license for the applying state.
• Full-time leadership role (minimum 40 hours per week).
• Ability to stand for long periods and perform salon services with precision.
• Great attitude, strong communication, and basic math skills for inventory and cash.
• Personal equipment required daily.

Responsibilities

• Lead daily operations on the floor and manage the appointment book.
• Coach and mentor staff, supporting goals and career growth.
• Ensure compliance with State Board and OSHA standards.
• Assist with local marketing partnerships and campaigns to keep chairs filled.
