Northwest Texas Healthcare System in Amarillo seeks a Behavioral Health Licensed Therapist to lead care coordination and discharge planning with minimal supervision. You will collaborate with the treatment team to assess patient needs and ensure funding requirements are met through Utilization Review.

This role emphasizes service excellence and cost-effective, quality care. You will provide individual and family therapies, conduct psychosocial assessments, and support an organizational culture

Qualifications

Licensed Therapist credentials in Texas (LPC, LPC-Associate, LCSW, LMSW or LMFT).
Master's degree in behavioral/mental health required.
Strong interpersonal and communication skills; BLS certification on hire.

Responsibilities

Assess and coordinate patient healthcare and education needs with the care team.
Orchestrate hospital processes for seamless, efficient patient care delivery.
Allocate human and material resources to meet patient care needs.
Comply with annual education requirements and safety standards.
