Northwest Texas Healthcare System is seeking a Behavioral Health RN to provide safe, competent nursing care in accordance with policy and philosophy. You will lead and support the healthcare team, grounding care in patient-centered principles.

The role emphasizes service excellence, risk assessment, and ensuring a safe environment for patients, families, visitors, and staff, with on-call duties as required.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited or NLN-approved RN program.
• Current Texas nursing license or permit to practice.
• Current BLS certification from the American Heart Association.
• De-escalation training within 90 days of hire.
• Pass pre-employment assessment(s).
• Ongoing demonstration of clinically pertinent competencies.

Responsabilités

• Develops, implements, and evaluates an age-appropriate plan of care using the nursing process.
• Maintains professional behavior when dealing with issues or conflicts.
• Provides a safe environment for patients, families, visitors, and employees.
• Assess risks to patient safety and implement precautions.
• Complies with standards outlined by the organization and accrediting agencies.
• Adheres to safety and injury prevention standards and patient-centered care model.
