Job summary

Providence Alaska Medical Center in Anchorage, AK is seeking a Manager Behavioral Health to lead clinical operations, coordinate teams, and ensure safe, compassionate patient care in our behavioral health units. This is a full-time, day-shift role (1.0 FTE) with a Monday-Friday schedule.

The ideal candidate holds a Master’s in behavioral health or related field and Alaska licenses, with 3 years of management experience.

Qualifications

• Master's degree in behavioral health, social work, counseling, or related field.
• Alaska Clinical Social Worker License upon hire or,
• Alaska Professional Counselor License upon hire or,
• Alaska Marriage and Family Therapist License upon hire or,
• Alaska Psychologist License upon hire.
• 5 years of behavioral health or social services experience.
• 3 years of management/supervisory experience.

Responsibilities

• Coordinates team in delivery of patient care in a compassionate and ethical manner according to recognized standards and care model.
• Develops the clinical program and ensures safety and daily management of assigned behavioral health units and/or operations.
• Exhibits independent judgment with 24-hr accountability for clinical and operational issues for assigned units/operations.
