Qualifications

• Licensed RN in Louisiana.
• 3+ years of nursing supervisory experience.
• Knowledge of psychiatric care and hospital policies.
• Ability to apply independent judgment in clinical settings.

Responsabilités

• Assesses patient care requirements and rounds on units.
• Ensure departmental staffing plans are implemented.
• Serve as a resource to staff for solving clinical problems.
• Assist staff to meet patient care requirements and responsibilities.
• Provide timely incident reporting to management.
• Respond to emergencies and assist as needed.
• Interpret and ensure adherence to hospital policies and procedures.
• Maintain documentation of patient symptoms, progress, and responses.
• Provide staff education, remediation, and competency assessments.
• Monitor environment of care and infection control practices.
• Administer medications safely and educate patients about them.
• Transcribe and implement physician orders accurately.
