Summit BHC New Mexico CTC, LLC in Las Cruces, NM seeks a Lead Behavioral Health Associate to work under a licensed nurse, supervise patients, monitor safety, and support the treatment team. The role includes recording patient data, mentoring BHAs, and assisting in crises and medical emergencies.

You will guide daily activities, conduct de-escalation, participate in rehabilitation groups, help with admissions and discharges, and ensure adherence to the program schedule while maintaining charts

Qualifications

• High school graduate or equivalent required.
• Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in human service field preferred.
• At least two years’ experience as a BHA required.

Responsabilités

• Ensure wellbeing and safety of patients in a structured environment.
• Supervise patients and assist with activities of daily living.
• Conduct safety checks and report significant changes to supervisor.
• Record vital signs and maintain timely charting in patient records.
• Mentor and guide BHAs; provide training as needed.
• Assist with admissions, discharges, and crisis interventions when required.
