Job summary

Pathways Strategic Teaching Center at the J. Arthur Trudeau Memorial Center in Coventry, Rhode Island, seeks a Board Certified Behavior Analyst to lead ABA services for students aged 3 to 22.

The role includes supervising assessments, developing behavior intervention plans, mentoring staff pursuing BCBA/BCaBA credentials, and collaborating with teachers, related service staff, and families to improve outcomes.

Qualifications

  • Master’s degree in applied behavior analysis, education, special education or related field; BCBA required.
  • Rhode Island licensure required.
  • Minimum of three years supervisory experience in an ABA program for students with autism.
  • Experience with individuals with autism using ABA and training others to implement ABA.
  • Experience developing curricula preferred.
  • Strong communication with parents and community officials essential.
  • Research experience and grant writing considered strongly.

Responsibilities

  • Supervise a caseload of students aged 3–22 and oversee assessments.
  • Develop behavior intervention plans and measurement systems for goals.
  • Mentor and supervise staff pursuing BCBA/BCaBA credentials.
  • Collaborate with classroom teachers, related service staff, and behavior technicians.
  • Organize educational environments and ensure adherence to ABA best practices.
  • Lead staff training and ensure ethical, person-centered care.
