Job summary

Pearson Carter Limited is seeking a Lead D365 BC Finance Consultant to own the Finance workstream across multiple Dynamics 365 Business Central implementations, combining hands-on functional consultancy with technical integration expertise. Remote – UK based with occasional travel for workshops.

You will lead the Finance workstream, manage discovery, configuration and solution design, and design integrations using REST APIs, OData and web services, with data migration and testing as key

Qualifications

• Strong D365 Business Central Finance experience – Essential.
• Proven experience leading BC implementations or Finance workstreams.
• Hands-on experience with Business Central integrations.
• Strong understanding of REST APIs, OData and web services.
• Experience with API tools like Postman or Swagger.
• Knowledge of OAuth 2.0 and Entra ID authentication.

Responsibilities

• Lead end-to-end Business Central Finance implementations.

Lead D365 BC Finance Consultant Remote

THE COMPANY

Pearson Carter is working with an established Microsoft Dynamics Partner looking for an experienced Lead Business Central Finance Consultant to join its growing team. This is an excellent opportunity for someone with strong Business Central Finance expertise and technical integration knowledge to take ownership of complex ERP implementations. You'll play a key role in solution design, customer delivery and technical decision-making.

THE ROLE

You’ll lead the Finance workstream across multiple Dynamics 365 Business Central implementations, combining hands-on functional consultancy with technical integration expertise.

Key responsibilities:

• Lead end-to-end Business Central Finance implementations
• Manage finance discovery, workshops, configuration and solution design
• Design and oversee integrations between Business Central and external systems
• Work with REST APIs, OData, web services and JSON
• Lead data migration, testing and reconciliation activities
• Produce functional and technical specifications

THE CANDIDATE

• Strong D365 Business Central Finance experience – Essential
• Proven experience leading BC implementations or Finance workstreams
• Hands-on experience with Business Central integrations
• Strong understanding of REST APIs, OData and web services
• Experience with Postman, Swagger or similar API tools
• Knowledge of OAuth 2.0, Entra ID and authentication

Desirable:

• Power Platform, Dataverse or Azure integration services
• AL development knowledge
• Microsoft Dynamics certifications
• Accountancy background or qualifications
