Job summary

Willow Valley Communities is seeking a visionary Chef to lead Home Plate BBQ Restaurant inside the Marlin & Doris Thomas Memory Center. You will guide a culinary team, craft memorable dining experiences, and help redefine dining for Residents, families, guests, and Team Members.

Starting pay is $32.00/hour+ based on experience. This full-time role runs Tuesday–Saturday, 11:00 AM–7:00 PM. We offer excellent health, dental, vision, generous PTO, a 401k with match, and access to campus amenities.

Qualifications

• Minimum four years of relevant culinary leadership experience.
• Experience with food and labor cost control.
• Menu development and culinary innovation experience.
• Knowledge of inventory management and forecasting.

Responsibilities

• Lead and supervise all kitchen operations.
• Recruit, hire, schedule, develop, and mentor Culinary Team Members.
• Train and support Sous Chefs, Cooks, and other Culinary Team Members.
• Manage inventory, ordering, forecasting, and food management systems.
• Plan and oversee special events and catering functions.
