Job summary

Gotion Illinois is seeking an Associate Production Manager for the Pack & Module team to oversee daily manufacturing operations, lead frontline teams, and drive continuous improvement in a fast-paced environment.

You will mentor Production Supervisors and engineers, coordinate resources, ensure safety and quality, and collaborate with Engineering, Quality, and Maintenance to sustain production readiness.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Manufacturing Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Operations Management or related technical field.
• 3+ years of manufacturing leadership experience in a high-volume production environment.
• Experience leading Production Supervisors, Engineers, and cross-functional teams.
• Strong understanding of manufacturing processes, production planning, and performance management.
• Demonstrated success driving operational improvements, productivity gains, and quality initiatives.
• Excellent analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to influence across all levels of the organization.

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily production activities for battery pack and module lines, achieving safety, quality, delivery, and productivity targets.
• Monitor production performance and implement corrective actions to minimize downtime.
• Lead and develop a team of Production Supervisors, Engineers, and hourly associates.
• Coach and provide feedback to promote employee growth and engagement.
• Coordinate labor, equipment, and materials to support production needs.
• Partner with Supply Chain, Maintenance, and Engineering for readiness and continuity.
• Drive root cause analysis and corrective actions for quality issues.
