Job summary

Ford Energy, a Ford Motor Company subsidiary in Dearborn, MI, seeks a leadership-level Battery Intelligence engineer to steer SOC/SOH estimation, RUL modeling, and digital twins across BESS programs.

You will mentor cross‑discipline teams, translate battery physics into production software and controls, oversee validation, and help shape the platform as Ford expands its energy storage strategy.

Qualifications

• Hands-on experience deploying battery algorithms on production systems.
• Experience with SOC, SOH, RUL, and thermal estimation.
• Experience calibrating and validating models with field data.

Responsibilities

• Lead battery intelligence development across BESS architecture and engage multiple teams.
• Define requirements for monitoring, diagnostics, and digital twins including interfaces.
• Translate battery physics into implementable software and control strategies.
• Mentor engineers across modeling, controls, and software.
