Job summary

Vail Resorts in Stowe, VT is hiring an Advanced Base Area Operator for the Winter Seasonal 2026/2027. Based at Stowe Mountain Resort, you’ll help deliver a great arrival experience and keep base-area operations smooth. The role offers full-time hours where available, with 18+ minimum age and physical requirements including lifting up to 50 lb, indoors/outdoors work, and weekend/holiday shifts.

Starting wage is $20–$22 per hour. Housing may be available.

Qualifications

• Minimum age 18 years.
• 1+ years of related experience.
• Ability to lift 50 lb (22.6 kg).
• Ability to work weekends and holidays.
• Follow procedures and stay safe; safety is priority.
• Housing availability may be provided per site.

Job Summary

As an Advanced Base Area Operator, you will perform critical operations in the base area to deliver an incredible arrival experience. It is a great opportunity to perform a variety of different work through the day ensuring great service and smooth operations of the resort.

Job Specifications

The expected pay range is$20/hr - $22/hr. This is the pay range we reasonably expect to pay for this position. Individual compensation decisions are based on a variety of factors.
