Southwest Electrical Contracting Services seeks a BAS Installer Lead to direct a team in installing and maintaining building automation systems for commercial projects. You will partner with project managers to ensure on-time, on-budget delivery and high-quality results.

The role requires leadership, BAS expertise, and the ability to mentor technicians while maintaining safety and documentation throughout projects.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent; tech training or BAS certification preferred.
• 5+ years installing and maintaining BAS.
• Strong leadership to manage a team.
• Extensive BAS knowledge and components.
• Experience reading blueprints and schematics.
• Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and work in varied weather.

Responsibilities

• Lead a team of BAS installers in installation and maintenance.
• Plan and organize daily tasks and assign duties.
• Train and mentor new team members in installation techniques.
• Ensure work complies with safety regulations and standards.
• Coordinate with project managers for timely completion.
• Troubleshoot technical issues during installation.
• Keep records of work, materials, and time spent.
• Communicate with clients about progress and concerns.
• Maintain a clean, organized work area and proper tool maintenance.
