Job summary
Jobot is seeking a Lead Controls Technician to guide field operations across the Greater Sacramento Area, overseeing BAS installation, startup, commissioning, service, troubleshooting and retrofit work for commercial customers.
You will mentor technicians, collaborate with engineering and project management, and help establish consistent service and commissioning standards while ensuring safety, quality and on-time delivery.
Qualifications
- 7+ years in BAS/HVAC controls industry.
- Union membership eligibility with UA Plumbers & Pipefitters or SMART Sheet Metal Workers.
- BAS startup, commissioning, and troubleshooting experience.
- Valid CA driver's license.
- Experience with Johnson Controls, Siemens, Schneider Electric, Distech, Tridium Niagara, Automated Logic, Delta Controls, or Honeywell.
Responsibilities
- Lead field operations across the Greater Sacramento Area, overseeing BAS installation, startup, commissioning, service, troubleshooting and retrofit projects.
- Mentor technicians and help establish consistent service and commissioning standards.
- Work closely with engineering, project management and sales to ensure project success.
