Job Description

The Bartender will be responsible for providing efficient, friendly customer service at all times and maintaining a clean, professional, top-quality bar.

Responsibilities

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

  1. Mix drinks for servers according to standard recipes.
  2. Be familiar with the wine list, stemware, and appropriate garnishes.
  3. Follow procedures outlined in employee and bartender manuals; use jigger for pouring and make drinks for servers only when rung in on Micros.
  4. Keep the bar stocked and clean; follow the side work sheet.
  5. Monitor inventory levels.
  6. Ensure consistency in the presentation and recipes of all cocktails.
  7. Enforce all policies related to liquor liability laws.
  8. Be familiar with all property amenities and other restaurant options.
Hotel Specific Functions

Respond to any reasonable task assigned by supervisor or manager. Assist in other departments as needed. Attend monthly departmental meetings.

Qualifications
  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Two years of bartending experience.
  • Extensive wine knowledge.
  • One-year restaurant experience.
  • Pleasant personality and excellent communication skills.
  • Ramp certification required.
