Job Description

The Bartender will be responsible for providing efficient, friendly customer service at all times and maintaining a clean, professional, top-quality bar.

Responsibilities

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

1. Mix drinks for servers according to standard recipes.
2. Be familiar with the wine list, stemware, and appropriate garnishes used.
3. Follow procedures as outlined in the employee manual and bartenders manual. Jigger pour, making drinks for servers only when rung in on Micros.
4. Keep the bar stocked and clean. Follow side work sheet.
5. Monitor inventory.
6. Ensure the consistency in the presentation and recipes of all cocktails.
7. Be familiar with and enforce all policies related to liquor liability laws.
8. Be familiar with all property amenities and other restaurants.

HOTEL SPECIFIC FUNCTIONS:

MARGINAL FUNCTIONS:

• Respond to any reasonable task as assigned by supervisor or manager.
• Assist in other departments as needed.
• Attend monthly departmental meetings.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Two years of bartending experience.
• Extensive wine knowledge.
• One-year restaurant experience.
• Pleasant personality.
• Excellent communication skills.
• Ramp certification required.
